What Are Reverse Cell Phone Services?By Kristi Ambrose By now I think most of us have heard of reverse cell phone look ups, but the whole thing might sound a little odd to you if it's the first time your hearing this term. In fact, you might even be a little curious if you have never heard of something like this and you might be thinking 'do these really exist?' In which case I would have to answer you and say YES. This actually didn't used to be available and was only allowable for residential and business phone numbers, bur recently a few hundred businesses have made it their business to include all sorts of cell phone numbers and names available to you. Essentially, you have in your possession a phone number, but if you have no idea who it's from, you can easily visit these sites, enter in the number and voila the persons name will come right up in seconds! Now a lot of the websites doing these reverse cell phone look ups aren't free and you will have to make a paid but inexpensive inclusion. However, I have found quite a few websites online that actually do offer this service for free (even though many people say this doesn't exist). I don't know, maybe I'm just a researcher extraordinaire or what, but the sites that I have found are incredibly useful and very precise. I have to say it, I have been on a few of these sites for people's home phone numbers and sometimes it seems like they just give you anyone's name even if it's the wrong one, when they don't know the correct name! This isn't good, after all your using these sites for pertinent and precise info, right? Well in the case of the cell phone sites, they are very precise, at least the ones I have found! Reverse cell phone directory services can come in handy not only in tracking prank calls, but also in several other aspects of daily life like monitoring the calls to and from your children, a suspicious partner, blank calls, odd time calls and other similar instances. In previous times, such a problem would have gotten passed on to a private investigator with the chance of a tidy bill following. Reverse cell phone directories have certainly made noteworthy routes into getting their piece of the 'pie' by offering such services!
